SeattleU Men's Swimming Defeats Pacific 127-79

The Seattle University men's swimming team breezed by the University of Pacific Friday evening to defeat the Tigers 127-79. With the victory, the men's squad earned their second victory of the season. 

The SeattleU women were unable to come home with a victory in the dual meet, as they fell to UOP 111-94. The Redhawks were led by Kelsey Henan, who won the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 54.56.

SU's Alexis Morehouse and Kevlyn Richards took a one-two finish in the 100 yard breaststroke. Morehouse swam an event-best 1:05.28, and Richards came in behind her teammate with a 1:07.08 finish.

Rounding out the Redhawk event victories on the evening, was the 400 yard freestyle relay. The four-swimmer team of Henan, Tina Nguyen, Rachel Leighter and Hayley Cobb swam the relay in a time of 3:43.00. The out swam the Pacific relay team by 7.72 seconds.

Despite having strong finishes, the California-based squad was able earn the meet victory.
