On October 9, Hoffman swam against the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. She competed in the 1650 Freestyle with a final time of 18:32.95, the 500 Freestyle with a 5:25.75, the 200 Freestyle Relay with a 1:47.09,the 500 Freestyle with a 5:27.77, and the 400 Freestyle Relay with a 3:49.84.
At Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive Conference Championships, competed in 500 Freestyle, placed 33rd with a time of 5:21.33 ... competed in 200 Freestyle, placed 41st with a time of 2:02.92 ... competed in 1650 Freestyle, placed 14th with a time of 18:06.40.
High School: Hoffman swam for John F. Kennedy Catholic High School all four years. She qualified for state all four years in attendance and helped the Lancers win the state title in 2007. A WIAA Scholar Athlete, she was Team Captain in 2007 and won the Coaches' Award that year. In 2006 she was voted Most Inspirational and won Most Improved in both 2004 and 2005. She also participated in track and field in 2004. Hoffman was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and was Senior Class Vice-President.

Personal: Full name is Casey Lynn Hoffman. Parents are Heather and Dave Hoffman, and she has an older sibling named Robin and a younger sibling named Jamie. Her father was a wrestler at Central Washington University, and her mother was a swimmer at the University of Washington. Hoffman is a sport and exercise science major and intends to pursue a career in physical therapy. She enjoys traveling and going on adventures and was voted Most Spirited by her classmates.
