After four and a half innings of action and close to three hours of waiting for the rain to subside, the third game of the Western Athletic Conference weekend series between Seattle University and Grand Canyon University at Bannerwood Park was halted Saturday.

The game was stopped after Cash McGuire (Kent, Wash.) led off the bottom of the fifth inning by reaching second base on a Grand Canyon error. The Antelopes went into the inning with a 7-0 lead after scoring one run in the first inning, two runs in the third inning, and four runs in the top of the fifth inning.

The game is scheduled to resume Sunday, May 4, at 3 p.m., depending on weather and field conditions. Any further updates will be posted on GoSeattleU.com.
