The Seattle University Spirit Squad, made up of a dance team and a co-ed cheer squad, will be holding tryouts for new members Thursday through Sunday, May 15-18, at the Connolly Center.

SU Cheerleaders and Dancers serve as ambassadors for the University through their participation at home athletic competitions, University events and community appearances. The Seattle University Cheer & Dance Team has been recognized as one of the top programs in the Northwest by the Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA).

There will be an informational meeting Wednesday, May 7, starting at 7 p.m. in the Connolly Center. Tryouts will take place in the Connolly Center Thursday, May 15, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, May 16, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday, May 18, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

Quarter tuition scholarships may be available for qualifying candidates. Video auditions will be accepted for incoming students from out of state.
