Seattle University women’s basketball is set to hold four practices open to the public in preparation for their foreign trip to Costa Rica next month. Players, coaches, parents, fans, and anyone who wants to get a sneak preview of the 2013-14 Redhawks are invited.

The open practice dates will be Saturday, Aug. 3 (9 am-12 pm), Saturday, Aug. 10 (8 am- 11 am), Friday, Aug. 16 (1 pm-4pm), or Saturday, Aug. 17 (8 am-11 am).

All four practices will be held at the Connolly Center on Seattle U’s campus at 550 14th Ave. Seattle, WA 98122 (on the corner of E Cherry and 14th) with street parking available on 14th and other surrounding streets. The first practice (Aug. 3) will be held in the North Court, which is upstairs and where the team plays all their home games. The three remaining practices will be held in the South Court, which is down the hallway to the right of the lobby.

The team will be traveling to Costa Rica from Aug. 19-26 to play three games versus international opponents, as well as participate in a serving learning project, and do team bonding activities including zip-lining and white water rafting.
