The all-time top ten times list once again saw changes as the Seattle University men's swim team finished its participation at the 64th annual Husky Invitational, hosted by the Husky Swimming Foundation, Sunday at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.

In the first preliminary of the morning, Andy Cunningham (Cameron Park, Calif.) finished in 11th place in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:52.99, the fifth-fastest time in program history, with Bart Wanot (Federal Way, Wash.) finishing in 17th place with the seventh-fastest time of 1:54.19. Nick Connors (Richland, Wash.) posted a time of 1:58.50 in the morning session to finish in 43rd place, followed by Sam Donohue (Portland, Ore.) in 75th place in 2:03.58 and Damon Perry (Sammamish, Wash.) in 90th place in 2:05.84.

Cunningham also posted the fifth-fastest time in school history in the 1650 freestyle with a mark of 16:22.40, good enough for 16th place overall. Connors finished in 22nd place with a time of 16:33.92, the ninth-fastest time in program history, while Chris Weinert (Gresham, Ore.) finished in 33rd place in 16:57.65.

Wanot moved on to a 26th place finish in the 100 freestyle preliminaries with a time of 46.81 seconds, just ahead of Murray Longbotham (Mercer Island, Wash.) in 27th place in 46.94 seconds. Douglas Pizac (Salt Lake City, Utah) finished in 59th place in the preliminaries with a time of 48.04 seconds, followed by Kyle Moline (Mercer Island, Wash.) in 81st place in 48.77 seconds.

James Gilmore (Eugene, Ore.) finished in 14th place in the preliminaries of the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:06.74, with Gabe Wheeler (Round Rock, Texas) posting a time of 2:10.18 to end up in 25th place. Wheeler competed in the "C" final of the 200 breaststroke, finishing in seventh place (23rd overall) with a time of 2:11.56.

Ali Abadi (Edmonds, Wash.) earned a 13th place finish in the 200 butterfly preliminaries with a time of 1:53.63, with Tomas Mendez-Beck (Hillsboro, Ore.) in 22nd place in 1:55.13, Moline in 28th place in 1:55.85, and Cunningham in 32nd place in 1:56.32. Abadi finished sixth in the "B" final (14th overall) with an evening time of 1:54.84. Perry posted a time of 2:00.76 to finish in 66th place in the preliminaries, and Donohue finished in 105th place with a time of 2:08.26.

Seattle U wrapped up the weekend with an eighth place finish in the 400 freestyle relay, as Longbotham, Wanot, Mendez-Beck, and Pizac posted the ninth-fastest time in school history with a mark of 3:08.70. Gilmore, Moline, Wheeler, and Perry combined for a time of 3:16.36 to finish in 28th place.

The Seattle University men's swim team will return to action Friday, Jan. 11, against Pacific Lutheran starting at 6 p.m. at the Connolly Center Pool.
