Whitney Walls picked up three kills during a 4-0 scoring run, and the Roadrunners would close out the set with a kill by Brittney Malloy.

McKenzie Adams earned back-to-back kills to start the second set as the Roadrunners again went wire-to-wire with the lead. After consecutive kills by Dill brought the Redhawks to within two at 8-6, UTSA scored six straight points, including two kills by Malloy, to extend its lead. Allie Bettinger scored the final two Roadrunner points of the set with kills to give the home team a 2-0 match lead at intermission.

Seattle U took its first lead of the match early in the third set on consecutive kills by Alec Goodrie (Springfield, Ore.), but after the two teams exchanged the next six points, UTSA took the lead for good on a kill by Malloy and consecutive Redhawk attack errors. The Roadrunners went on a 6-1 scoring run to take control of the set, and then finished off the set and the match with a kill by Becca Stark.

UTSA hit .429 in the match, making only seven attack errors the entire night.
