Collegiate Consulting has announced that Dan Ferguson has been hired as Assistant General Manager for Seattle University. Ferguson joins Brandy Flaherty, entering her second year as General Manager, in the Ticket Sales & Services Department for the Redhawks.
"I'm excited to be back in the Seattle area and to have the opportunity to work for such a great organization as Seattle University. Considering I was once a ballboy, watching the likes of Clint Richardson and Jawann Oldham, it will be an honor to be a part of the athletic program's growth as a Division I school," said Ferguson.
Previously, Ferguson spent the last 10 years working in the sports industry in sales and management. Most recently, he served as Director of Sales at the Georgia Force, Atlanta's Arena Football League organization. This followed a very successful sales career in the NBA and WNBA, both in the Sacramento and Seattle markets. His prior experience has provided him with an exceptional sales and marketing philosophy with a keen understanding of customer service.
Ferguson was born in Seattle and is a proud graduate of Washington State University. As the youngest of seven children, Dan enjoys spending time with his many nieces and nephews. An avid sportsman, he enjoys participating in as many sport activities as possible. However, when not competing on the field, Dan can be found near a chessboard, as he is an avid chess player.
Seattle U Athletics: The Seattle University Department of Athletics sponsors 20 sports at the NCAA Division I level. Seattle U will compete in the Western Athletic Conference in 17 sports, with men's soccer and men's swimming maintaining their memberships in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and women's crew, the newest sport sponsored by Seattle U, competing as a Division I independent.
