2018-19: Did not play.
Hailey Vice-Neat joins the Redhawks after playing a season at Boise State. After sitting the 2018-19 season due to NCAA transfer rules, Vice-Neat will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Vice-Neat played in 19 contests at Boise State in the 2017-18 season. The 6-3 forward put up 11 points and 10 rebounds per game in her senior year at Cardinal Newman. She earned all-conference honors in each year of her high school career. Vice-Neat was key in Cardinal Newman’s run to the Northern California Regional final in 2017.
“We feel fortunate Hailey is bringing her talents to Seattle University for the remainder of her eligibility,” said Barcomb. “She is long, lanky and fits well into our present system, playing as the trail, wing position and possibly finding mismatches on the inside. Her length will bolster our abilities to play a variety of lineups, both offensively and defensively. She has a feathery touch from the three-point line and can go off the bounce. Hailey will gain valuable knowledge and get accustomed to our system this upcoming season and we expect her to make a big impact on the court.”
