EUGENE, Ore. – (Feb. 27) Beginning a five-game road trip at the University of Oregon on Tuesday, Seattle U baseball was blanked 14-0 by the Ducks at PK Park.

The majority of the damage was done in the second inning as Oregon (5-2) exploded for 10 runs on five hits, four walks and one Seattle U (5-4) error. The Ducks also scored three times in the first and once in the seventh.

Tyler Oldenberg took the loss for the Redhawks after giving up the first nine runs of the game, six earned. He was relieved by Alden Huschle who also could not slow the Ducks.

Dawson Day came on to toss 2.2 scoreless innings, Brayden Weyer did not allow a hit or run in two innings, Jarrod Billig surrendered one run in the eighth, and Zach Wolf closed out a scoreless ninth.

Seattle U's battery managed just six hits, including two by Jake Cosgrove. Duck starter Cullen Kafka picked up the win after pitching three scoreless innings. Oregon deployed six total pitchers in the game.

The Redhawks travel on to Kissimmee, Fla., where they will take on Seton Hall, Youngstown State and Notre Dame in the Irish Classic Mar. 2-4.
