LAS CRUCES, N.M. – (Nov. 4) Seattle University volleyball closed out its final road trip with a 25-22, 25-13, 25-19 setback at Western Athletic Conference leader New Mexico State Saturday afternoon at the Pan American Center in Las Cruces, N.M.

The Redhawks dropped to 9-16 overall and 5-7 in WAC play while the Aggies move to 19-7 overall and 10-2 in league action.

Freshman Anna Palmer led Seattle U with 10 kills to go along with seven digs. Rachel Stark added six kills and three others had five apiece and the Redhawks hit .204 for the match.

Tijana Milojevic led the way with 15 digs and Katarina Marinkovic added 10.

New Mexico State was paced by Tatyana Battle’s 14 kills. Kassandra Tohm and Lia Mosher added 10 apiece as the Aggies hit .257 for the match.

Ten service errors hampered the Redhawks while the Aggies finished with six aces and just three service errors.

The Redhawks close out the regular-season at home next week, hosting Chicago State on Thursday and UMKC on Saturday at the Connolly Complex.
