HIGH SCHOOL: Mitchell graduated from Archbishop Murphy High school in Everett, WA…member of National Honor Society and Wilderness Club…received math department award and Neussendorfer $500 scholarship…four years on varsity swim team, team captain in 2014 and 2015…received Most Inspirational girls swim and dive in 2015…district and state champions all four years…one year on varsity track & field…travelled to Guatemala for a service trip…vice president of French club…member of South Snohomish County Dolphins in 2014.

PERSONAL: Caitlin is the daughter of Erin and Dan Mitchell…has one brother, Keaton, who is a national champion roller skater…majoring and pursuing a career in nursing…affiliated with the Center for Community Engagement.

2017-18: Contributed to six meets…member of the Varsity 8+ at the Portland Fall Classic (Oct. 30) finishing in third place, the Husky Open (Mar. 31) finishing in third place, the Saint Mary’s Scrimmage (Apr. 15) finishing in third place, and the WIRA Championships (Apr. 29) finishing in sixth place…competed in the Head of the Lake Regatta (Nov. 6) as part of the Championship Varsity 8+ boat finishing in eighth place and the Windermere Cup (May 5) as part of the Collegiate 3V 8+ boat finishing in third place.

2016-17: Competed in five meets…helped the redhawks with a first place finish at the PLU Invite (Mar. 14) as part of the Novice 8+ and Novice 4+, the Husky Open (Apr. 2) as part of the W3V8 boat, the Covered Bridge Regatta (Apr. 16) as part of the Novice 8+ boat, and the WIRA Championships (Apr. 30) as part of the Novice 8+ boat…member of the Collegiate Open 8+ boat at the Windermere Cup (May 8) with a third place finish.
