SEATTLE - Seattle University women’s tennis (1-0) swept all three doubles matches before sweeping each of six singles matches en route to a 7-0 victory over Pacific Lutheran University (0-1) at the Amy Yee Tennis Center.

“It was good to get a win in our home opener and have everyone that is healthy contribute towards the victory,” said head coach Adam Reeb. “This was a great opportunity to work on a lot of things we’ve been focused on in practice and see how they would transfer to a competitive setting. Overall, I was very happy with how the team performed.”

The Redhawks have a week-plus break in competition before traveling to Palo Alto, Calif., on Oct. 21 for the ITA Regionals, hosted by the Stanford Cardinal.
