2016 Outdoor: At WAR IX, finished 14th in 400 with an outdoor personal record time of 62.62; finished 12th in long jump with jump of 4.91m. 

2016 Indoor: Academic All-WAC ... At WAC Championships, finished the 400 meter dash with a time of 62.18.

2015 Outdoor: At the Ken Shannon Invitational, finished 7th in the long jump at 4.98 meters...At WAR8, the team finished 4th in the 4x400 meter relay.

2015 Indoor: At UW Invitational, finished 10th in 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:03, finished 23rd in long jump at 4.78 meters (15' 8") ... Finished 32nd in long jump at 5.03 meters (16' 6") at UW Indoor Preview

High School: Competing for South Whidbey High School, Sparkman finished seventh in the long jump at the 2014 Washington 1A state championships and also helped both the 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay teams to top-seven finishes. She was part of the 4x400 meter relay that broke a school record that had stood since 1995. She was also a center midfielder on the Falcon varsity soccer team, earning the squad's most inspirational award in 2010 and 2011 before being named team MVP in 2012 and 2013.

Personal: Sparkman is the youngest child of Russell and Noriko Sparkman, and she has an older sibling named Guy. Born Aug. 31, 1996, in Nagoya, Japan, Sparkman is undecided about a major.
