2014-15: At Husky Invitational, posted season-best times in 100 butterfly (52.61) and 100 breaststroke (1:01.41) ... Earned time of 22.19 seconds in 50 freestyle at Air Force 1/17.
2013-14: At Husky Invitational Dec. 6-8, swam second leg of "B" 200 medley relay with split of 28.77 seconds ... posted time of 53.86 seconds in 100 butterfly prelims ... posted mark of 1:01.72 in 100 breaststroke prelims ... finished 200 breaststroke prelims in 2:18.02 ... anchored "B" 400 freestyle relay with split of 50.82 seconds.
On Oct. 19 versus CSUB and GCU, finished 100 breaststroke in 1:02.96 ... took 11th in 200 IM with a time of 2:07.29 ... swam second leg in 200 medley relay with a total relay time of 1:38.28
High School: Morris holds the school records in the 100 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, and 200 freestyle relay at Lufkin High School. He received the Team Warrior Award in 2012 as well as the team MVP award in 2013.
Club: A member of swim clubs in both Oregon and Texas over the past five years, Morris has posted solid times in the 200 individual medley and 200 freestyle during national events.
Personal: Morris is the oldest son of Robert and Kay Morris, and he has a younger brother named Jacob. He is a pre-major in the College of Arts and Sciences.
