Seattle University women’s soccer and
volleyball will each host their annual Pink Game in the month of October to
raise money for breast cancer research. The proceeds from both fundraisers will
be donated to Susan G. Komen Puget Sound.
The Pink Game for women’s soccer will be on
Sunday, Oct. 7 as the Redhawks host the University of Idaho in their Western
Athletic Conference home opener at 12 p.m. Special pink Seattle U soccer shirts

prizes including a gift certificate from Jolie Nail Spa, a gift certificate to
the University Market and Deli, a Poquitos gift certificate, a pair of men’s basketball season tickets, and a
pair of women’s basketball season tickets. There will also be a silent auction
with items including a pink soccer ball and pink jersey, both signed by the SU
women’s soccer team, as well as a signed Seattle Sounders jersey. All popcorn sales from the match will also be donated. Donation jars
will also be sitting throughout the Championship Field complex.
On Thursday Oct. 18, Seattle U volleyball
will hold their Dig Pink match as they host San Jose State at 7 p.m. at the

fight against breast cancer. A raffle will be held with two gift certificates
from Jolie Nail Spa, a gift certificate from University Market and Deli, a gift
bag from High Five Pie, a pair of men’s basketball season tickets, and a pair
of women’s basketball season tickets. Silent auction items will include a
