Spring 2013: 7-14 in singles play ... beat Utah State’s Fredrik Peterson 7-6, 6-3 April 11 ... swept Southern Utah’s Bryton Wells 6-0, 6-0 on March 25 ... beat Eduardo Bringold of Eastern Washington 6-4, 6-4 on Feb. 9 ... took down Portland State’s Lukas Kortus 7-6, 7-0 on Feb. 1 ... earned first collegiate dual victory with 7-5, 6-2 win over Gonzaga’s Hayden Smith Jan. 11 ... 4-12 in doubles play ... teamed up with Ian Clare to defeat Blank and Degardin of New Mexico State 8-6 April 12 ... with Clare, beat Southern Utah’s Nielsen and Dial 8-0 March 24 ... joined Will Topp to defeat Lupo and Gendron of Northern Colorado 8-2 Jan. 27 ... with Topp, defeated Mijatovic and Guillermo of Gonzaga 8-3.

Fall 2012: 3-5 in singles play ... beat Eastern Washington's Joseph Cohen in straight sets at PNW Intercollegiates Nov. 2 ... defeated Montana's Mike Facey in three sets at Boise State Fall Classic Oct. 6 ... took down Lalo Martinez of Eastern Washington in three sets at EWU Fall Classic Sept. 21 ... 3-4 in doubles play ... teamed with Will Topp to beat Gonzaga's Smith and Jamin at Boise State Fall Classic Oct. 6 ... with Topp, beat Gonzaga's Mosquera and Ismanth 8-3 at EWU Fall Classic Sept. 22.

High School: Kosanke spent four years starting on the Bellevue High varsity tennis team, acting as team captain for three of them. He made district and state appearances all four years for the Wolverines, winning the state singles title his senior year. He also racked up two fourth-place finishes-one in singles and one in doubles-and a fifth-place showing in doubles at state his freshman year. He tallied a regular season combined record of 37-4 over all four years by going undefeated in the 2010 and 2011 regular seasons, and he was named conference MVP and First Team All-Conference all four years as well. He was named Team MVP from his sophomore to senior year and won Most Improved his freshman season.

Personal: Full name Zachary George Kosanke. Parents are Cindy and George Kosanke, and he has an older brother named Kevin. Kosanke is undecided on a major, but would like to pursue a career in law after graduation.
