2012-13: Tied for 20th after counting 229 strokes (+13) at WAC Championship April 29-May 1 ... took 227 strokes (+14) and tied for 80th at ASU Thunderbird Invitational April 5-7 ... tallied 2.5 points at the Cypress Ridge Match Play March 28-29, including a 2UP victory over Cal Poly’s Brandon Shaw ... fired a 12-over-par 228 and tied for 54th at the Sacramento State Invitational March 11-12 ... shot 229, 13 strokes above par, at WSU Snowman Getaway (Feb. 25-26) ... tied for 29th by shooting 151 (+7) at Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational (Feb. 11-12) ... finished tied for 48th after shooting 21-over-par 231 at Firestone Grill Cal Poly Invite (Oct. 8-9) ... shot 224 (+11) and finished T-49 at Dash Thomas Memorial (Sept. 24-25) ... carded a 15-over-par 231 to tie for 49th in first collegiate tournament, Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational (Sept. 17-18).

High School: Torres graduated from the GI School.

Other Experience: Torres won the Colombia National Championship three times, in 2005, 2008, and 2009, to go along with wins in the Chile Junior Open in 2011 and Pacific Rubiales Open in 2012. He has represented his home country of Colombia in tournaments in Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Canada, and the United States.

Personal: Full name David Torres. Torres was born in Armenia, Cololbia, and his mom is Yolanda Rodriguez. Torres is a business economics major. He plays the guitar and drums and also enjoys swimming, biking, and running, hoping to participate in the Ironman Triathlon one day.
