Spring 2013: 0-4 in singles play ... 1-1 in doubles play ... with Steffanie Mortera, beat Garcia and Carillo of Texas A&M Kingsville 8-1 on March 28.

Fall 2012: 4-4 in singles play ... defeated Alyssa Nagai of Eastern Washington 6-2, 6-3 in Jack Taylor Classic Sept. 29 ... beat Weber State's Megan Ridlisbacher 6-0, 6-2 at Jack Taylor Classic Sept. 27 ... 2-1 in doubles play.

High School: Bennett spent four years on Issaquah High's varsity tennis squad. She played at the No. 1 spot her sophomore, junior, and senior years with Eagles, compiling an undefeated season her sophomore year and going 11-1 a year later. She took fourth place in the KingCo district her junior and senior years, making the All-KingCo first team both years, and she helped lead the team to a KingCo championship her senior year and second place in the division the year before. Bennett also played two years of volleyball, earning Most Improved her freshman year and MVP sophomore year. She also was a member of the National Honor Society, French Club, and Junior Statesmen of America.

Club Experience: Bennett played for the Robinswood 18's Advanced Team the last two years.

Personal: Full name Dayna Marie Bennett. Parents are Shelly and Martin Charnin, and she has two brothers named Joel and Richard. Bennett is a sociology major and is planning a career in criminal justice. She enjoys traveling, swimming, and snowboarding.
