Barry University: Chase played in 19 matches, including 15 starts, for Barry in the 2011 season, helping the team to a 12-3-6 overall record. He earned an assist during a 2-0 victory over Johnson & Wales Sept. 14.

High School: Chase was a four-year letterwinner at Thomas Jefferson High School playing for his father David. In his senior season, he finished with 12 goals and 11 assists to earn SPSL MVP honors as well as first team all-area by the Seattle Times and first team honors by the Tacoma News Tribune.

Personal: Chase is the son of David and Lori Hanson. He has one older brother, Tyler, who also played for Seattle U men's soccer, plus he has a younger sister named Jordyn. Chase is majoring in marketing.
