High School: Rodriguez-Nilsen was a four-year varsity starter at Central Kitsap High School. He helped lead the Cougars to four state playoff appearances, including playing in the Championship match in 2012 after clinching a 20-1 record that year. He earned All-League Honorable Mention his freshman year, Second Team All-League his sophomore year, and First Team All-League his junior year. In his Senior year he again earned First Team All-League honors and was the Narrows League top scorer, Narrows League MVP, and Washington State 4A MVP. Club Experience: Rodriguez-Nilsen played for multiple club teams, most recently the U17/U18 Sounders FC Academy, which he helped that team reach the national semi-finals.
