2012-13: At WAC Championships Feb. 27 to March 2, Liggett took 18th place in 200 yard butterfly with finals time of 2:07.57 (preliminary time 2:08.71) ... took 21st place in 100 yard butterfly with finals time of 58.10 (preliminary time 58.08) ... swam 500 yard freestyle in 5:18.26 ... swam third leg on 400 yard medley relay in 57.77 (relay time 3:52.94).

On Jan. 18-19, swam third leg of third place 400 yard medley in 1:00.12 (relay time 4:03.80) ... swam 50 yard freestyle in 26.06 ... took fifth in 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:23.02 ... swam 200 yard freestyle in 2:07.40took fourth in 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:00.63 ... swam second leg of second place 400 yard freestyle relay in 55.56 (relay time 3:39.48)

Versus Whitworth on Jan. 12, Liggett won 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:13.18 ... won the 100 yard butterfly in 59.24 ... swam third leg of winning 400 yard medley relay in 59.86 (relay time 4:02.39) ... swam lead leg of 400 yard freestyle relay in 55.76 (relay time 3:47.34).

On Nov 30 to Dec 2 in the Husky Invitational, Liggett swam the 200 yard Butterfly preliminaries with a time of 2:10.23, finished 32nd ... took the 100 yard Freestyle in 55.43, placed 145th ... anchored the 400 yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 3:47.40, took 48th ... swam the 100 yard Butterfly in 59.44, taking 67th ... participated in the Medley Relay in 1:57.49, placed 60th ... swam the 800 yard Freestyle Relay with her team and finished 31st in 8:02.63.

Versus Simon Fraser Nov. 10, Liggett swam the third leg of the second-place 400 yard Medley Relay in 58.55 (relay time of 3:58.09) ... finished the 200 yard Butterfly in 2:11.05, taking second ... swam the second leg of the second-place 400 yard Freestyle Relay in 55:17 (relay time of 3:42.32).

At CSU Bakersfield Oct. 20, Liggett swam the 200 yard Butterfly with a time of 2:03.63, taking first place ... took second in the 100 yard Butterfly with a time at 58.78.

At Idaho Oct. 13, Liggett placed second in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:09.33 ... took second in the 100 Fly at 59:00 ... swam third leg of second-place 400 free relay in 55.28 (relay time of 3:39.51) ... anchored swam the third leg for the fourth-place 200 yard medley relay team in 27.79 (relay time of 1:53.46).

At Washington State Oct. 12, Liggett finished the 200 yard Butterfly in a time of 2:11.81, taking third place ... swam the 100 yard Butterfly with a time of 59.31, taking third place. 

High School: Liggett was a four-year varsity letter-winner at Westview High School. She helped lead the Wildcats to the state championships all four years. In the classroom, Liggett was the health careers class historian for HOSA and received an award for the best service project her senior year.

Club Experience: Liggett swam for the Hillsboro Heat Swim Team from 2006 to 2012. She holds the team record in the 18-and-over 100 yard butterfly as well as the open 200 yard free relay. She was named MVP in 20011, Most Inspirational in 2010 and 2012, and Most Improved in 2009.  

Personal: Full name Jane Phelps Liggett. Parents are Mary and Jim Liggett, and she has three older sisters named Anne, Barb, and Kath. Liggett is a nursing major and would like to pursue a career in that field after graduation.
