High School: McKenzie was a three-year starter for the Kings High School Knights, including two years (2010 and 2011) as team captain. She earned First Team All-State honors as a libero in 2009 and as a setter in both 2010 and 2011. She helped the Knights win the state title in 2008 and 2009 and the district championship in 2011.

Club: McKenzie has participated for WVBA since 2007, helping the squad reach the national tournament in 2010 and 2011.

Personal: McKenzie is the daughter of Sam and Sandy Daniels and has an older brother named Kramer. Born Match 11, 1994, McKenzie is majoring in accounting. She has led a team in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in both 2011 and 2012.
