May 1 vs. Oregon: came in to pitch 1.2 innings, allowing no runs and no hits, giving him the win ... April 28 at San Jose State: pitched 6.2 innings only allowing 1 run with 3 strikeouts and no walks to get him the win ... April 21 vs. UT Arlington: threw a shutout game with no runs scored in 9 innings pitched with only 4 hits and 8 strikeouts ... Feb. 22 at Cal Poly: struck out eight batters and allowed two unearned runs.
2012: Olson redshirted during the 2012 baseball season.
Tacoma CC: Olson pitched two years for the Titans. He was named Second Team NWAACC in 2010.
Enumclaw High School: Olson was a three year varsity starter for the Hornets. He was named All-League Honorable mention in 2007, Second Team All-League in 2008, and made the league's first team in 2009, as well as to the All-State team. Olson was given the team's MVP award in 2007 and voted Most Inspirational in both 2008 and 2009. He helped take the team to the playoffs form 2007 and 2009 and threw a no-hitter in 2009.
Personal: Full name is Andrew Jordan Olson. His parents are Toni and Kevin Olson, and he has two older sisters named Rechelle and Amanda, and a younger brother named Alex. Cousin Brian Howard spent time in the NFL playing for the St. Louis Rams and the Kansas City Chiefs. Olson is a communication studies major and enjoys music and traveling as well as baseball.
