Gonzaga Prep: Overbay ran both cross country and track all four years. His personal bests are 1:58.08 in the 800 meter run, 4: 19.21 in the 1600 meter run, and 9:59.70 in the 3200 meter run.
Club Experience: He ran for Spokane Mercury Track and Field 2001-2011 and Spokane Mercury Cross Country 2001-2010. In 2010 he placed second at nationals in the 3000 meter run and fourth in the steeplechase. He helped Spokane Mercury place tenth in the cross country nationals in 2008 and 17 at nationals in 2009. Overbay placed 18th at the2011 Junior Olympic National cross country meet and competed in the 2011 Foot Locker West Regionals.
Personal: Full name is Collin Jacob Overbay. Parents are Shannon and Darrell Overbay and has a younger sibling named Maiah. Both his parents ran track and cross country in college. Overbay is majoring in computer science with a minor in engineering.
