2008 Cross Country: Jennifer started her season with a 93rd-place finish at the UW Sundodger Invitational with a time of 25:17. She also competed at the Cascade Conference Preview, finishing in 65th place in 20:38.82.
2007 Cross Country: Innes started the season with a 28th place finish at the Emerald City Invitational with a time of 27:28.35. She followed with a time of 24:52 at the Sundodger Invitational, good enough for 83rd place. After a foot injury kept her out of the next few meets, she returned to competition at the GNAC Championships and finished 70th with a time of 25:03.
2006 Cross Country: Jennifer covered the 6k course at the Sundodger Invitational in a time of 27:28. She began her collegiate running career with a 38th place finish at the Emerald City Invitational in a time of 28:35.69. Ran a 5k time of 21:38.55 at the Charles Bowles Invite in Salem, Ore. Competed at the Western Washington Invite, finishing with a time of 27:45. Finished 69th at the GNAC Championships with a time of 26:50.13. Finished the season at the West Region meet with a 120th place finish and a time of 26:54.09.
High School: At Mercy High School, Jennifer participated on the cross country, track and field, and soccer teams. She was one of the captains of the track and field team in her sophomore season. In both her sophomore and senior years, the cross country team won the Central Coastal Section. She also earned the Coaches Award for her participation on the soccer team. Her best mile time in high school was 6:04.
Personal: Jennifer's parents are Mark and Joan Innes. She is majoring in humanities for teaching at Seattle University. She has volunteered to help with severely mentally disabled children.
