2018 Outdoor: Had an eighth-place shot put score of 7.90m at the Ken Shannon Invitational… finished the 1500m race with a time of 4:07.32 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival.
2018 Indoor: At the Western Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, ran a 4:36.56 mile... in the distance medley at the UW Invitational, ran a composite 11:07.53 with his team… ran a 2:41.05 1000m at the University of Washington Indoor Preview.
2017 Cross Country: At WAC Championships, finished 35th with an 8k time of 25:48 … At Sundodger Invitational, finished 28th with an 8k time of 26:40.69 … At Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational, finished 54th with an 8k time of 26:32.9.
2017 Outdoor: At Ken Shannon Invitational, finished 5th in the 5000 with a personal record time of 16:01.35 ... At Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open, finished the 1500 with a time of 4:17.75.
2016 Cross Country: Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: Blake Delaney was a seven-letter-winner at San Rafael High School, competing on varsity cross country for four years, and varsity track for three years. Blake went to the North Coast Sectional three years in a row, and the Fresno State meet three years in a row, as well. He placed 16 in D3 with a time of 15:37 in the 5k, setting the new high school record by 16 seconds. During his senior year, he won MVP for cross country.
CLUB EXPERIENCE: Blake founded the Bay Area Running Club.
PERSONAL: Blake comes from a family of athletes. His father, Joe, was a collegiate swimmer and water polo player at Stanford, and his grandfather, Jim, was a 1948 Olympic silver medalist in the shotput. On top of his cross country/track and field experience, Blake was also a lacrosse referee. Blake is aiming toward a major in marketing.
