High School: At Auburn Mountainview High School, Morgan helped the Lions reach the state tournament all four years, winning the 3A state title in 2013 with a 26-3 record. He was a three-time All-League and First Team All-Tacoma News Tribune selection, batting .414 in 2013 as well as over .400 in both 2014 and 2015. He owns the school records for career hits (104), career runs scored (89), and career stolen bases (58).

Personal: Morgan is the youngest son of Jeff and Christi Morgan, and he has two older siblings named Shannen and Kelsey. He is majoring in business management within the Albers School of Business and Economics.
