2016: 8 APP/8 GS, 6-1, 2.11 ERA, 42.2 IP, 32 H, 13 R, 10 ER, 17 BB, 50 SO … March 18: struckout 8 batters in seven innings, allowed four hits with zero earned runs and gave up two walks against UC Irvine … February 27: struck out 10 batters in just six innings, gave up only two hits with no earned runs against Bowling Green… February 21: struck out 13 batters in six innings of work, allowed three hits with zero earned runs against Saint Mary's College ... WAC Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 29) ... Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week (Feb. 22)...

2015: Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American ... Second Team All-WAC ... 17 APP/14 GS, 7-4, 3.24 ERA, 83.1 IP, 69 H, 37 R, 30 ER, 27 BB, 68 SO ... May 16: pitched 7 innings against Northern Colorado, striking out seven batters while allowing only two hits and zero earned runs ... May 10: pitched 7 innings against Chicago State, striking out 11 batters while allowing five hits and only one earned run ... April 26: pitched 6 innings against Bakersfield and managed to strike out eight batters while giving up only two hits and zero earned runs ... March 29: pitched 7.1 innings against UT-Pan American and struck out three batters, while allowing three hits and zero earned runs ... March 22: in 6 innings of work against Utah Valley he struck out eight batters and let up only three hits with zero earned runs ... March 10: pitched 7 innings against Washington, striking out three batters while allowing only two hits and zero earned runs ... February 28: pitched 2 innings of relief against Fairleigh Dickinson and struck out three batters while allowing not a single hit or earned run...

High School: Skubal was a three-year letterwinner at Kingman Academy, leading the Tigers to three playoff appearances, including the state championship in 2012 and 2013. He was named CAA playoff MVP during both title runs as well as CAA state player of the year in 2013. He pitched a perfect game during the first game of the 2014 playoffs.

Personal: Skubal is the son of Russ and Laura Skubal, and he has older siblings named Trent, Tyler, and Wil Jones, as well as a younger sibling named Treyvor. Skubal is a pre-major.
