High School: Aguilar-Nelson was undefeated in the 400 meter dash during his senior year until he finished third at the Oregon state track and field championships, including victories at the Oregon Relays and the Laker Classic. A two-time track and field team MVP, he was also a two-year starter on the varsity football team as a wide receiver, leading the South Salem High School Saxons in receiving yards in 2014.

Personal: Aguilar-Nelson is the son of Steve Nelson and Lizi Aguilar-Nelson, and he has an older sibling named Zyanya. Born March 10, 1996, he is planning on majoring in business.
