2013 Indoor: At UW Indoor Preview Jan. 12, ran 3000 meter run in 11:27.83

2012: Finished USATF Pacific Northwest Championships (11/4) in 25:14, taking 15th place ... ran Beaver Classic (10/19), finishing in 24:13 and placing 56th ... took 36th place in Emerald City Open(10/13), finishing the race in 25:24.5.

Mililani High School: Pugliese was the Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division Girls XC Player of the Year in 2010 and also named an OIA 1st Team Western Division All-Star for track in 2010-2011 and for cross country in 2009-2010.  She was given the Mililani High School Most Outstanding Female Athlete Award, Most Outstanding Varsity Girls' Track Award and Most Outstanding Varsity Girls' Cross-Country Award in 2011.  She ran the 1500 meter and 3000 meter runs at the 2011 Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Track and Field Championship, placing seventh and fourth respectively.  Pugliese also ran the 3000 meter run in the state championships in 2009 and 2010.  She also helped the Mililani High School cross country team take second place at the 2010 cross country state championships while individually placing fifth in both 2010 and 2011.  While taking a break from running, Pugliese was president of the Japanese National Honors Society and also participated in the Interact Club. 

Personal:  Parents are Hiroko and Frank Pugliese.  She is majoring in accounting.  Pugliese also was a member of the Mililani Summer Track Club from 2002-2010.
