2010: Jaeckel played 28 matches her freshman year, starting all but six of them. She was second on the team with 282 kills and third with 20 service aces. She also placed fourth with 173 digs. Jaeckel earned 21 kills against Cal State Northridge (Sept 10), her season high, and had three aces each against Wyoming (Sept. 18) and at Jacksonville (Oct. 22), while adding 13 digs at Gonzaga (Sept. 18).
Heritage HS: A four-year varsity starter, Jaeckel helped the Eagles win back-to-back district titles in 2008 and 2009 as well as the regional title in 2008. She was named all-conference three straight seasons (2007, 2008, 2009) as well as honorable mention all-state and a distinguished scholar-athlete for her high school in 2009. Off the court, Jaeckel was a senator in the student government and a member of Eagle Mentors, dealing with suicide prevention.
Club Volleyball: Playing for Front Range Volleyball Club for seven years, Jaeckel helped her team qualify for Junior Olympics five times and was named the MVP of the RMR regional championship in 2006. Her team finished fifth at the AAU championship in 2010.
Personal: Born March 22, 1992, Jaeckel is the daughter of Jim and Sharon Jaeckel and has two older sisters (Lauren and Kristy) and one younger brother (Matthew). She is majoring in accounting.
